Dr Mary Liston

General Practitioner

As a General Practitioner with a background in medical science, my passion lies in helping people age with strength, confidence, and vitality. Long before I became a doctor, I was immersed in research—and today, that curiosity continues to guide my work in cosmetic and regenerative therapies.

I take a particular interest in biological aging—how we age at a cellular level—and how we can naturally support the body’s own healing systems to slow visible signs of aging, reduce inflammation, and maintain optimal function.

In 2019, I introduced Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) therapy to South Australia—well ahead of the curve. Unlike Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) PRF is proven to be superior as it offers a slower, sustained release of growth factors to promote deeper tissue regeneration. I’ve successfully used PRF to:

Preserve collagen and elastin in the skin
Support joint health
Reduce hair loss in both men and women
My approach is holistic, science-based, and grounded in the belief that we should enhance what nature has already given us—not fight against it.

Outside of medicine, I’m lucky to be kept on my toes by four energetic grandsons who make sure I never fall behind the times!

Practice Spotlight

Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) Therapy in Adelaide

At Kensington Park Medical, we offer Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) therapy—an advanced, all-natural treatment that harnesses your body’s own healing power. PRF is created from a small sample of your blood and contains a concentrated mix of platelets, white blood cells, stem cells, and growth factors suspended in a fibrin matrix. This unique preparation promotes tissue regeneration, boosts collagen and elastin, reduces inflammation, and supports long-term repair. Used for skin rejuvenation, joint health, and hair restoration, PRF delivers a slower, sustained release of healing factors for superior results compared to PRP—all without additives or chemicals.
